Roxanne

Roxanne was my first Field Spaniel. We waited two years to find the dog with the right pedigree that we wanted. Unfortunately as can happen with Fields her mouth ended up as a reverse scissor bite and not a good show prospect. She did prove to be a good beaters dogs, though she wasn't keen on picking up. On the shoot when a bird came down she would tear up to them and go on point until some nice person picked it up for her. 
She loved swimming and would slip silently into the water to retrieve dummies.
